Jake Holland: The Wah Blei River

Posted on Tuesday 8th November, 2016

A classic Meghalayan run with an extension! The Wah Blei is one of the main tributaries to the Kynshi. Its very steep, filled with huge boulders and is a problem solvers dream!
The Kynshi is undoubtly a classic! With plenty of action, in a gorgeous setting. This trip took us 4 days and really did not disappoint, even with the hype!
It was our first time on both these sections, which made the trip all the more special!
Many thanks to:
The Rea-Dickins Brothers for all their help and invitation
Zorba Laloo for his amazing generosity of time and resources
The Laloo Family for letting us use their house to sort logistics
The many amazing drivers who got us to and from the rivers
Everyone in India who helped us and gave us a smile
